Um, everything. I can’t possibly pick just one aspect of JMU that is the best. Here’s a summed up list.

So, I’m studying for my 2nd quiz in GPHIL and part of what we’ve learned is about how to read philosophy. There are 3 stages, and to help me remember the stages, all I have to do is think, how would Sue Sylvester read philosophy?

PARKING NAZIS SERVICES. They never give you a break, and it’s SO annoying when you’re parking in Warsaw Deck (behind Forbes Performing Arts Center) because the first like 3 levels are for faculty/staff and THEY NEVER FILL UP. Give commuters an extra level, pleeeeease! When commuter is full, the sign outside still says like 80-100 faculty. DUMB.

Day 16 - How often do you go home on weekends?
Unfortunately I rarely go home at all. I have my own car and home is only about 3 hours away, I’m just always busy on weekends and never have time to make it home. :( Maybe next weekend (the 25th) though! If not, spring break is less than 3 weeks away :)

Day 14 - What’s your school mascot?
J-M, Uwishuhada DUKE DOG! :) Duke Dog is a bulldog with a cape and a crown. And our mascot beats up your mascot. ‘nuff said.
Day 13 - How good is your school’s football team?
My freshman year, we were unstoppable…we beat App State! And then we lost in the semi-finals to Montana :(
My sophomore year, we sucked.
This year, WE BEAT TECH!! …and then lost every other game after that pretty much.
Overall we’re not half bad…if we would just get our shit together.

Day 12 - How often do you skip class?
Um, never this semester. And rarely in past semesters…only if I had a major meeting during class. Though last spring I did skip geology on Thursdays kind of more than usual…but that’s because it’s geology. :P Overall I have a really good attendance record.

Hmmmmm. I honestly don’t know if I can pick a favorite…because none of my classes have really been that interesting to me (or made a real impact) until this semester. I love my Intro to Public History class, mostly because I have been saying that I am a Public History major without REALLY delving into the coursework.
